The Ten Commandments

God is our Father but also the ultimate Law-Giver and Judge. His standards are way higher than our own. And He gives us His standards as commandments we need to follow. The reason he tells us what we can do and what we cannot do is to protect us from the effects of wrong doing. He is the one who created us and he knows what is good for us and what destroys us.

Receive Jesus Into Your Life

It is simple logic: two people together can achieve more than one person by himself. And if the second person happens to be God Almighty, then, there are no limits to how much can be accomplished! And so, it’s just a wise decision to receive Him into your life!

God is a person and can be either received into your life or rejected. He is not just a power or spirit or a consciousness; He is a person. He has revealed himself through Jesus Christ.

One Word From God

God is with us and He fights our enemies, who rise up against us, and keeps us safe. But when we do not obey His voice and do what is evil in His sight, He will take His protective hand away from our lives and will deliver us into the hand of the enemies, so that we come back to him, and do all that He wants us to. Certain things are not evil in our own sight or in the sight of others, but if it does not please God and if something is not right in His eyes, then He will judge us that we may repent and turn back to Him. Water Baptism According To The Bible

Baptism is an essential outward sign that brings grace for a new life when a person receives Jesus into his life. It is not a mere ritual that is performed and therefore needs to be understood. According to the Bible baptism is the outward expression of the New Life that we have received in Jesus Christ. It is not a matter of mere tradition practiced but an expression of our obedience to Jesus and His word. It is a step in obedience we take once we have come to know Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. Therefore, the following questions are important - who can be baptized - infants or adults? How should a person be baptized? What happens during and after baptism?

Most Important Question

Are you wondering how this could be the most important question in your life? Read on to know why.

Your response to Jesus Christ has very important consequences – both now and eternally. Pontius Pilate a governor in Israel first asked this all important question, 2000 years back, when faced with either handing Jesus over for crucifixion or releasing Him. And, during the process of Jesus' trial, crucifixion, death and time after his resurrection, the Bible talks about various people's responses, which reflects the response of probably every single person that has lived ever since Jesus Christ's time on earth. Let's look at the different people and their response to Jesus:

Running : To God or From God

Are you running from God?

You might respond to a question like that by saying, ‘Of course not. I pray. I go to church. I sing in the choir’ or ‘I love God but… it’s just that I don’t want to get too spiritual or too holy-holy’ or ‘I don’t really pray or go to church but I have a relationship with God in my own way!’ You might in fact be asking, ‘Who in their right mind would want to run from God. After all don’t we all need Him’?

Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy,That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.(Is 59 :1-2)

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth…(1 Cor 13:4-6)
